VIMtrek Overview
VIMtrek is designed to expand the value of your Autodesk® Revit building models by taking a rich Building Information Model (BIM) into a dynamic, fully rendered Visualization Information Model (VIM) – BIM to VIM. With the power of the VIMtrek suite you can deliver a full model scene rendering in a literally a fraction of the time of the traditional method. In addition to this, the model scene generated by VIMtrek will have rendered the entire Revit model – interior, exterior, site.

How VIMtrek Producer works
Producer converts Autodesk® Revit design files into immersive 3D environment in less than five minutes, with no training or experience required. The rendering process utilizes unique compression technology that makes the files one-tenth the size of a traditional render and is completely interactive, allowing designers, architects, contractors, and their clients to navigate the environment and experience the building as though they were moving through a video game.
Producer allows users to move through the building freely and multiple users can be in the building interacting with one another at the same time. For instance, a designer can leave a digital VIMNote within the rendering, which an architect can view and retrieve later; or both the designer and architect can stand in one room of the project together while reviewing materials and making design decisions.
